All students in first through sixth grade have a minimum of 200 minutes of Physical Education over a ten-day period. Students in seventh through eighth grades receive a minimum of 400 minutes of physical education instruction every 10 school days. Credentialed P.E. teachers enhance the program with engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction and embedded assessment of progress toward content standards. The P.E. program utilizes SPARK P.E. and focuses on developing discreet skills while empowering students to establish healthy, active lifestyles they can maintain into adulthood. Units include health and social and emotional lessons as well.
